Position Summary
The Executive Housekeeper is a senior leader responsible for the full strategic and operational management of the housekeeping department at The Pyrmont Curaçao, ensuring that all guest rooms, suites, public areas, back-of-house spaces, and resort facilities meet the luxury cleanliness, safety, and presentation of the Autograph Collection brand. This leader oversees all housekeeping operations, manages departmental budgets, leads a large and diverse team, and drives a consistent culture of excellence, productivity, and service. As a key member of the pre-opening team, the Executive Housekeeper is responsible for building the department from the ground up, ensuring successful opening-day readiness. Post-opening this role is responsible for overseeing and directing all aspects of the housekeeping operation to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service throughout the property. This includes guestrooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. The Executive Housekeeper leads, trains, and motivates the housekeeping team to deliver exceptional guest experiences, while maintaining a strong focus on productivity, cost control, and continuous improvement. The position also plays a key role in fostering collaboration with other departments to support overall hotel operations, guest satisfaction, and financial performance.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in Housekeeping management or a similar leadership role within a hotel environment.
• Experience in a chain or branded hotel is preferred.
• Ability to lead, train, and motivate large teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, control costs, and optimize departmental efficiency.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
• In-depth knowledge of cleaning procedures, safety standards, and brand compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel management systems such as Opera or similar PMS.
• Strong financial acumen and budgeting experience.
• High attention to detail.
• A strong commitment to guest satisfaction, service excellence, and operational excellence consistent with Marriott brand values.
• Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays, and varied shifts as required by operational needs.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Proficiency in Dutch, Spanish and Papiamentu is considered an advantage.
